It should be a fun weekend of football as the OIA Division I playoffs begin while the ILH regular season ends and the OIA D-II playoff race gets sorted out.

No. 2 Punahou (5-1, 4-1) can finish off the ILH regular season in at least a tie for first place with Saint Louis with a victory over ‘Iolani (3-5, 0-5). In the event of a tie, the four-team “tournament” over the next two weeks will determine the overall ILH champion.

HISTORY: Punahou leads the series 44-30-2 in the Prep Bowl and state championship eras and has won eight in a row and 15 of the last 16. ‘Iolani running back KJ Pascua is averaging 83.3 rushing yards in three games against Punahou. Punahou’s Ryan Tuiasoa set a school record with 271 rushing yards in a 56-14 win over the Raiders in 2012.
