An injury-shortened junior season didn’t derail Saint Louis’ Matt Sykes. The 6-foot-3, 209-pound wide receiver has rebounded and impressed recruiters at a number of camps and combines, including the Polynesian Bowl Combine held over the weekend in Las Vegas. Sykes talked about the six offers on the table, as well as the process of bulking up — he was listed at 195 pounds last fall — without losing speed.

Sykes’ offer sheet includes: California, Fresno State, Hawaii, Kansas State, Navy and Utah.
