Saturday’s OIA East girls soccer match between Castle and Moanalua will likely determine the division winner and top seed entering the OIA playoffs beginning Jan. 22.

Moanalua and Castle have finished first and second in the OIA East in each of the last two seasons. Na Menehune handed the Knights their only loss of the regular season last year, 4-1.

Moanalua (6-0) is currently on a 21-game unbeaten streak dating back to a 5-3 loss to Kaiser in 2015. Moanalua tied Kalani, 2-2, later that season and played Kalaheo to a 2-2 tie in its second game of the regular season last year.

Castle’s Bethanee Hanaike scored a goal in the second half of the Knights’ 2-0 win over Kahuku on Wednesday night to hand the Red Raiders (4-1-1) their first loss of the regular season.

The Knights (6-0) have scored 23 goals and allowed four while Moanalua has scored a division-leading 40 goals and given up just two goals, which also is tops in the OIA East.

Saturday’s match is 4 p.m. at Moanalua.
