With a second offer, this one from Utah, Titus Mokiao-Atimalala can see a fork in the road.
The Campbell junior, a standout receiver and defensive back, also has an offer from Hawaii. That’s the school that has a commit from older brother Tamatoa Mokiao-Atimalala, whose primary position is defensive back. Both brothers pull ironman duty with a few other Sabers on both sides of the ball.
The younger brother will have time to make a decision. While Tamatoa turned down Army and Navy to commit to Hawaii in January, Utah’s offer very likely won’t be the last for Titus, now 6 feet 1 and 170 pounds.
Titus currently has 27 receptions for 417 yards and eight TDs through four games. Fifth-ranked Campbell (1-3, 1-2 OIA Open) hosts Sandra Day O’Connor (Ariz.) tonight in nonconference play. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
Titus Mokiao-Atimalala is hands down the Mid-Season Player of The Year doing it on both sides of the ball..
