They just started the consolation round, but I have to get to work and write a story. Punahou boys push Kamehameha

Kamehameha’s boys needed every point to beat Punahou in the championship of the ILH’s first dual tournament of the season, setting up a month of battles before things get real at the ILH tournament. The OIA was scattered to four sites and I think I got three of them, the most interesting being Zackary Diamond pinning Alex Ursua in an exhibition match. Five wrestlers ranked on the top of these rankings were in action at Kamehameha on Saturday, and each one of them came through. Blaysen Terukina of Kamehameha won at 113, Alex Ursua of Pearl City took 126, Kalaheo’s Jacob Solomon won at 152, Pearl City’s Blake Cooper did his thing at 160 and Kamehameha’s Jonah Hoshino fended off a charge from No. 3 Kristian Vaana Kikuyama at 170.
