By Paul Honda on May 8, 2012

Nice morning here at Kapolei, where 17 college-bound student-athletes were honored in a ceremony by the school. They really did it nice, with breakfast in the gym, parents/family only. And media. Among the signees: pitcher Trey Kamachi-Allen, going to Arizona State; Charlinda Ioane, UH track and field; Winona Pauline, UH softball. More today when I get back from the West side. Funky finish by MPI sprinter

By Paul Honda on April 4, 2012

Normally, high school sports videos here on Hawaii Prep World are shot by our staff at the Star-Advertiser. Actually, they’re shot and edited by me, yours pupule. But this clip showed up on Yahoo Sports Minute. It’s a Mid-Pacific track athlete — from the intermediate school, not the high school as Yahoo’s host says — and it’s got more entertainment value than you might expect. All I can say is, great finish!

Most of you. Raion’s faves Food: Teriyaki burgers. “That’s all I need.” Snack: Oreos with a glass of milk Fruit: Tangerines Class: Chemistry […]
