Saint Louis senior linebacker Isaac Slade-Matautia was one of six players to announce their college commitments during the inaugural Polynesian Bowl on Saturday night at Aloha Stadium. Slade-Matautia, who is 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, narrowed a list of nine offers to Oregon and Nebraska before announcing his commitment to the Ducks. The 2016 Open Division state champion Saint Louis Crusaders are ranked ninth in the West Region according to the final USA Today rankings released on Monday. The Crusaders (10-1) knocked off Kahuku, 30-14, in the Open Division state final and won their final five games of the season after losing to Punahou, 33-20.
