The GEICO State Champions Bowl Series that the Saint Louis Crusaders will be playing in on either Dec. 20 or 21 in Las Vegas has been around since 2014. No games, however, were held in 2015. The season isn’t over quite yet for four-time Hawaii state champion Saint Louis. Saint Louis linebacker Jordan Botelho, a Notre Dame commit, is going to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio. He is the only invitee from Hawaii and was honored with an All-American Bowl jersey presentation at the school’s Mamiya Theatre on Monday morning. With Friday night’s 45-6 win over Kahuku to end the prep football season, the Saint Louis Crusaders inched even closer to the Kahuku Red Raiders. The win brings a seventh koa trophy to Kalaepohaku, just one shy of Kahuku’s record of eight in the top-tier state championship.
