Friday, June 5, 2015 Clarence T.C. Ching Field University of Hawaii Hosted by PIAA, the turnout has been incredibly large. So much so that the allotted 400 jerseys are out. Late signees were encouraged to bring their own jerseys in case. The registration lines were long for almost 90 minutes. Mililani running back Vavae Malepeai received his 18th FBS scholarship offer today: Utah. The 6-foot, 200-pound junior is heralded by his coaches for a dedicated work ethic. He last received offers on May 18 and 19 from USC and Oregon, respectively. Unlike many of his peers, Malepeai doesn’t post much information about his offers. Texas made a football scholarship offer to Kaiser offensive lineman Michael Eletise this morning. The Longhorns are the 39th FBS school to offer the 6-foot-4, 305-pound junior. It’s been a lively stretch for Eletise, who received offers from TCU and Wisconsin on Friday, and another from Michigan State on Wednesday. Eletise tweeted the news about Texas. Nate Herbig is biding his time just fine. The mammoth offensive lineman from Saint Louis received his third football scholarship offer on Sunday, this one from Oregon State. Herbig also has offers from San Diego State and Washington State. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound junior shared the news on Twitter. Manaia Perese, a 6-foot-3, 277-poud defensive lineman and a 2013 Mililani graduate, has been offered scholarships to play football at Kansas and Tulsa, according 247sports.com and his high school coach Rod York. Michael Eletise’s choices for an FBS scholarship just grew. Eletise received offers from Texas Christian and Wisconsin today. That grows his pile of offers to 38 FBS schools.
