One coach interviewed for this multi-part series pointed out what he thinks may be the value of this endeavor: “A lot of times, you only hear about coaches when they’re getting released or are having a special season. It’s super hard to have a special season, so this should shed more light on them […]

Lawyer unsure if Kaiser football parent will appeal

By Nick Abramo on March 15, 2019

Kaiser football parent Gregory Tartamella‘s lawyer does not know if they will be appealing last Friday’s guilty verdicts in a Circuit Court jury trial. Tartamella will be sentenced May 8 after he was found guilty of second-degree assault, two counts of harassment, and first-degree terroristic threatening. Eric Seitz, his attorney, wants to wait until after sentencing before making a decision on a possible appeal. “If he gets probation — and that’s what we’re hoping for — I would recommend for […]

CLOSING THE BOOK: Kaiser Cougars

By Jerry Campany on October 25, 2018

The Kaiser Cougars have returned to the land of the living. Knowing Seaman’s history at the school, it isn’t as big of a surprise as it should have been. Seaman took over the same program from Scott Chan in 1993 after a 1-7-1 year and […]
