The girls lost standout guard Kylie Maeda for the season after she suffered an ACL injury to her left knee in the opening seconds of a game during last week’s ‘Iolani Classic girls tourney. After years in the making — or planning — Maryknoll School finally has a gym of its own. At a cost of $21 million, according to athletic director Pattie Heatherly, the Maryknoll Community Center serves several purposes.
