Molokai improves to 3-0 in 8-man football

Molokai improved to 3-0 overall in 8-man football with a 62-7 home win over Seabury Hall on Saturday. The Farmers remained in a first-place tie in the Maui Interscholastic League with Hana, which defeated Lanai 40-6 on Saturday on the Pineapple Island. Winless Neighbor Islands FB list whittled to 3

Waiakea got past Hawaii Prep 28-24 on Thursday for its first win of the season, leaving just three winless teams from the Neighbor Islands. The three outer-island squads without a win are Keaau (0-5) of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation, Kauai High (0-5) of the Kauai Interscholastic Federation, and King Kekaulike (0-5) of the Maui Interscholastic League. Seven of the nine Honolulu Star-Advertiser Top 10 football teams won last weekend in Week 7 of the season. No. 5 Kamehameha and No. 6 Farrington lost to ranked teams.
