Cauley is a true believer in the aloha spirit

Moanalua football head coach Jason Cauley is going back to Alabama and he hopes to bring some of Hawaii with him. Kapaa clinched its second straight Kauai Interscholastic Federation football championship three weeks ago, but the Warriors (7-0, 5-0) have some unfinished business on the Garden Island. In Saint Louis’ 30-14 football victory over Punahou last Friday, it was a surprise to see sophomore Chevan Cordeiro as the starting quarterback. He stayed in the game for most of the first quarter until he was replaced by the regular starter, junior Tua Tagovailoa. Kohala clinches BIIF 8-man football title

Kohala clinched the Big Island Interscholastic Federation’s 8-man football title with a 55-0 home win over Pahoa on Saturday. The Cowboys (5-1, 5-0) close out their season Oct. 31 at Pahoa. Molokai (5-0, 4-0) clinched the Maui Interscholastic League 8-man regular-season championship with a 2-0 forfeit win over Kiheai Charter last Thursday. Saint Louis is No. 1 in Star-Advertiser Top 10

A big weekend for both Saint Louis and Kahuku paved the way for the Crusaders and Red Raiders to take over the top two spots in the latest Honolulu Star-Advertiser Top 10 released Monday.
