BIIF champion Hilo was rewarded with the top seed in Division I of the First Hawaiian Bank/HHSAA State Football Championships. Now the Vikings (8-1) have to prove they were worth the honor when they host Leilehua (4-7) at Ke’au on Friday night at 7 p.m. Hilo is 0-5 all-time in the state tournament but gave Kahuku quite the scare in the first round two years ago.
