It’s not unusual for a North Shore boy to get a full-ride scholarship offer. What is unusual is that the player plays for a school at the northwestern tip of Oahu and not the northeastern. After listing both Saint Louis and Kahuku in its list of top 100 teams in the nation for the upcoming 2017 season, Max Preps released its preseason top 25 on Monday with one of the two schools making the cut. Kaiser to “modify” season due to low numbers

The Kaiser varsity football team is planning to play some games this season, but how many is a question that has not been answered yet. Principal Justin Mew, after a meeting of parents and coaches, said in a statement late Friday night that the Cougars’ season will be modified. Waialua waiting for “OK” on grass field

New grass has been planted on the Waialua football field. When it grows in fully, it will likely be a nice, new gift for the defending Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II champion Waialua Bulldogs.
