Intense rehab leads to payday for Kaimuki’s Lucero

Enzo Lucero‘s football season was over in July. But because of his hard work in rehab, he’s back in business on the football field for Kaimuki. Lucero had two sacks and batted down a pass in the Bulldogs’ 30-14 victory over Kaiser in the OIA Division II semifinals. The win locked up a berth in the state D-II tournament. Harder, Kwan break through in ILH cross country

Hanalani junior Adam Harder took his time to savor the school’s first individual ILH cross country title. Harder covered three miles at Punahou in 17 minutes, 6.4 seconds to beat ‘Iolani senior Charles Sakamaki and the rest of the field by a wide margin on Saturday. Inouye, Schneider earn OIA titles

Dallas Inouye dusted the field by more than 30 seconds to give Moanalua a repeat winner at the OIA Cross Country Championships at Central Oahu Regional Park on Saturday. Inouye covered the sprawling 3-mile course in 21 minutes, 17.93 seconds to beat teammate Maleah Kanayama‘s 21:49.91 clocking.
