Moanalua’s Rashod Tanner to play in Blue-Grey All-American Bowl

Moanalua senior defensive back Rashod Tanner will play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl, according to Sean Ceglinsky, the game’s chief operations officer. The 5-foot-9 Tanner was part of a Na Menehune team that finished 10-2 and won the OIA Division I championship this fall. Moanalua, however, dropped a 35-9 decision to ‘Iolani in the first round of the D-I state tournament. Kamehameha’s Kanai Tapia did his best Terukina impression at the elite Walsh Jesuit Ironman tournament in Ohio. Tapia entered the tournament when teammate Kysen Terukina was invited and won his first match at the elite event. Terukina opted not to compete. Saint Louis’ Jordan Botelho will not play in two bowl games

Saint Louis senior linebacker Jordan Botelho will not be playing in two upcoming nationally televised bowl games as originally planned, according to Crusaders coach Cal Lee. Botelho is ineligible to play in the GEICO State Champions Bowl Series and the U.S. Army All-American Bowl all-star game.
