STL-IOL postponed after 3 inn.

The biggest game of the season for Saint Louis and ‘Iolani has been postponed after three innings due to rain. ‘Iolani led 2-1 entering the fourth inning. Rain had been falling on Ala Wai Field since the start of the second inning. Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance and Elks Lodge of Waikiki hosted a letter of intent signing ceremony on Wednesday morning. More than 30 signees participated in the event. Among the seniors ready to start college was volleyball standout Kupono Fey of Punahou. But unlike his peers, the 6-foot-6 senior was at home. Here’s a follow-up to Tuesday’s Star-Advertiser prep notebook item about Kalani’s baseball team losing its home field, Kahala Park, for home games. Parks and Recreation Deputy Director Al Tufono confirmed that the department will meet with Kalani Athletic Director Gregory Van Cantfort on Nov. 8.
