The biggest game of the season for Saint Louis and ‘Iolani has been postponed after three innings due to rain.
‘Iolani led 2-1 entering the fourth inning. Rain had been falling on Ala Wai Field since the start of the second inning. After a full inning of raindrops — it got much worse in the third — the chief umpire stopped play at 4:09 p.m. The game was postponed at 4:32 p.m.
The game will resume tomorrow (Saturday) at 3 p.m., Ala Wai Field.
The winner earns the second ILH state-tournament berth. The loser will be done for the season.
