The Maryknoll baseball program has been on the up and up for quite some time, and it just received another boost. Spartans athletic director Ben Valle confirmed Friday that Eric Kadooka has accepted an offer to be the head coach. Mid-Pacific senior Alex Oley was named the Gatorade Hawaii Baseball Player of the Year on Tuesday. Oley is the ninth MPI player to win the Gatorade honor in the 31-year history of the award.
