Glenn Flores is Campbell’s new head coach for baseball on an interim basis, athletic director Rory Pico confirmed Thursday. The position opened up when Pico left the post to become the Sabers’ AD last fall. Akana, a St. Francis three-sport athlete, was looking forward to the 6:05 a.m. letter-of-intent signing with his parents, grandparents and siblings nearby in the Hawaii Convention Center.
