10:07: Game over.

10:04: Saint Louis punts again.


9:50: Gomez scores on a 3-yard keeper. Micah Fonoti’s kick is blocked. SAINT LOIUS 34, KAPOLEI 6, 5:45 left in game.

9:48: Gomez’ 9-yard gain and two Saint Louis penalties pushes the ball to the 3. 6:42 left in game.

9:45: A roughing the punter call gives the Hurricanes a second chance. Gomez then throws a 14-yard pass to Bula White to the Crusaders’29.

9:39: Mason Gomez in at QB for Kapolei.

9:37: A.J. Bianco in at QB for Saint Louis. The Crusaders get one first down and then punt.

9:35: Third quarter ends.

9:32: Kapolei gets a 25-yard gain — Bailey to Coyaso — but can’t keep it moving and punt.

9:23: The Crusaders get a first down on an Apo to Po’okela Louis, but stall and punt for the second time of the second half.

9:22: Bailey is sacked by the Crusaders’ Mason Tufaga. Saint Louis ball.

9:20: Kapolei going for it on fourth and goal from the 7.

9:19: Dycen Coyaso’s 29-yard reception on a pass from Bailey has Kapolei at the Saint Louis 7.

9:14: A helmet to helmet hit on Saint Louis is called for a 15-yard infraction. Hurricanes ball at the Crusaders’ 39.

9:11: Bailey’s pass of 10 yards to Thomas and 17 yards to Bula White pushes the Kapolei ball to the Hurricanes’ 38. A personal foul penalty two plays later moves the ball to the Saint Louis 44.

9:09: The Crusaders drive all the way to the Kapolei 11, but Apo fumbles and the ball is recovered by the Hurricanes’ Saole-Su’e.

8:46: Halftime.

8:42: Due to a sack on Apo by Saole-Su’e, the Crusaders punt for the first time. 31 seconds left in second quarter.

8:40: Connor Apo in at QB for Saint Louis.

8:38: The Hurricanes stall at the Crusaders’ 43 and punt it for the fifth time.

8:36: The Hurricanes pick up a first down on Bailey’s 9-yard run and his 9-yard pass to Thomas. Ball is at the Saint Louis 45.

8:31: On first and 10 from the Kapolei 29, de Laura hits Makena Ramos-Kamaka looping back to the ball on a long route. It goes for for a 29-yard touchdown. Napuunoa kicks the extra point. SAINT LOUIS 34, KAPOLEI 0, 4:08 left in second quarter.


8:29: Kapolei goes for it on a fourth down and 1 instead of punting for the fifth time in the game. Jayven Reyes is stopped for no gain.

8:26: On the next play, Tumpap scores from 1 yard out. Seabury kicks the extra point. SAINT LOUIS 27, KAPOLEI 0, 6:10 left in second quarter.

8:25: Another march is on for the Crusaders. Roman Wilson catches a pass for 51 yards. Another de Laura pass, this time to Nishigaya, covers 14 yards to the Hurricanes’ 1.

8:20: Haleola Thomas catches a Bailey pass for 18 yards and a 15-yard Saint Louis personal-foul penalty pushes the ball into Saint Louis territory at the 33. But on a fourth-down play, Bailey’s pass to the end zone sailed incomplete.

8:16: On the next play, Kainalu Tumpap goes off left tackle for a 9-yard TD to cap a 70-yard drive. Ray Seabury’s extra-point attempt hits the left upright and bounces down. No good. SAINT LOUIS 20, KAPOLEI 0, 10:36 to go in second quarter.

8:15: De Laura passes to Nishigaya for 26 yards, Trech Kekahuna for 28 yards and a 9-yard personal foul penalty pushes hte ball to the Kapolei 9.

8:12: After the punt, the Crusaders begin at their 30.

8:10: First quarter ends

8:06: A long Bailey pass to De’Zhaun Stribling is nullified by a personal foul penalty. Kapolei bogs down and punts.

8:02: A 16-yard holding penalty followed by an 18-yard de Laura pass to Nishigaya sets up de Laura’s 4-yard TD run around left end. Napuunoa kicks the extra point. SAINT LOUIS 14, KAPOLEI 0, 1:38 to go in first quarter.

8:00: De Laura passes of 24 yards to Dennis Tadio and 15 yards to Keanu Wallace moves the ball to the Kapolei 6.

7:57: Kapolei goes three and out and punts.

7:55: Saint Louis linebacker Nick Herbig gets into the action with a sack of Bailey.

7:51: Three plays later, de Laura hits Sykes again for a 20-yard touchdown. Lason Napuunoa kicks the extra point. SAINT LOUIS 7, KAPOLEI 0, 6:12 left in first quarter.

7:50: de Laura’s pass to Matt Sykes covers 28 yards to the Kapolei 33.

7:46: Three incomplete passes in a row by Bailey leads to Kapolei’s second punt of the night.

7:43: Kapolei gets the ball back on Saint Louis first play — a Jayden DeLaura pass to Koali Nishigaya. He fumbles as he is hit by Jacob Saole Su’e and Branston Gasper-Bergardo recovers at the Hurriances’ 40.

7:41: Hurricanes are punting. Crusaders have great field position at the Kapolei 48.

7:38: Noa Bailey is in at QB for Kapolei.

7:36: Kapolei will receive. Saint Louis defending the makai end zone.

    it’s so sad to see what high school football has become since cal lee. it’s just ILH building super mega teams while even the best of the OIA suffers

    Notes…it is what it is…it won’t change. St. Louis been doing this since at least the 50-60’s.

    St. Louis looks unstoppable. But every dog has it’s day. It’s just St. Louis day doesn’t look like it’s day is coming soon. RR4L, but just gotta be honest. Your team looks good. Our Red Raider D looks like can hang. But that O looks pretty strong. Well just have to wait an see.
