It’s the last week of the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I football regular season and there are still lots up for grabs as far as playoffs and seeding is concerned.
Here’s a look at the Blue and Red Divisions and the possible playoff scenarios:
OIA Blue
>> Kahuku (6-0)
— Clinched the Blue title and the Blue No. 1 seed and a spot in the state tournament (Open or D-I)
>> Waianae (5-2)
— Will clinch the Blue No. 2 seed and a spot in the state tournament if Campbell loses to Radford
— Will be the Blue No. 3 seed if Campbell beats Radford
>> Campbell (4-3)
— Will clinch the Blue No. 2 seed and a spot in the state tournament with a win over Radford
— Will be the Blue No. 3 seed with a loss to Radford
>> Aiea (3-3)
— Will be the Blue No. 4 seed with a win over Moanalua
— Will be the Blue No. 5 seed with a loss to Moanalua
>> Moanalua (2-4)
— Will be the Blue No. 4 seed with a win over Aiea
— Will be the Blue No. 5 seed with a loss to Aiea
>> Kaiser (1-5)
— Clinched the Blue No. 6 seed
>> Radford (0-6)
— Eliminated from playoffs
OIA Red
>> Kapolei (5-1)
— Clinched the Red title and a spot in the state tournament (Open or D-I)
>> Farrington (5-2)
— Will clinch the Red No. 2 seed and a spot in the state tournament if Mililani loses to Leilehua
— Will clinch the Red No. 3 seed if Mililani beats Leilehua
>> Mililani (4-2)
— Will clinch the Red No. 2 seed and a spot in the state tournament with a win over Leilehua
— Will be the Red No. 4 seed with a loss to Leilehua and a Kailua loss to Castle
— Will be the Red No. 5 seed with a loss to Leilehua and a Kailua win over Castle
>> Kailua (3-3)
— Will be the Red No. 4 seed with a win over Castle
— Will be the Red No. 6 seed with a loss to Castle
>> Leilehua (3-3)
— Will be the Red No. 3 seed with a win over Mililani
— Will be the Red No. 4 seed with a loss to Mililani and a Castle win over Kailua
— Will be the Red No. 5 seed with a loss to Mililani and a Kailua win over Castle
>> Castle (2-4)
— Will be the Red No. 5 seed with a win over Kailua
— Will be the Red No. 6 seed with a loss to Kailua
>> Nanakuli (0-6)
— Eliminated from playoffs

Waianae will probably be the red number 3 seed, as Radford will not beat a surging Campbell team. Waianae will probably pound Castle and then lose to Mililani in the second round. That’s what happens when the coaches like test their pop warner passing game against Campbell in the first half and then try win the game in the second half using their jumbo / running game. Waianae has to be leading the league in penalties, and when that happens winning close games is far fetched because the team is not disciplined; because they feed off of their undisciplined coaches.
