After taking part in Hawaii’s Junior Day event over the weekend, Punahou sophomore Stephen Barber was rewarded with his first scholarship offer from the Rainbow Warriors.

Barber, who is 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, played behind senior Ephraim Tuliloa and junior Nick Kapule this past season but still saw action in six games. He was 9-for-22 for 77 yards with a touchdown and an interception and showed off some decent running skills for a QB his size, rushing for 103 yards on 17 carries.
Despite not playing much, Barber has made a name for himself in recruiting showcases on the mainland. He was a finalist at a Rivals Quarterback Challenge in Los Angeles in March that involved 77 QB prospects, including Saint Louis QB Tua Tagovailoa.
Got to wait his turn. Marcus Mariota only started 1 year at St Louis.
Maybe that’s why Garrettt Gabriel’s kid transferred from Punahou to Mililani.
