How cool is cool? For Kaiser senior Michael Eletise, it may never be as cool as this because high schoolers just don’t get their own football cards.

Under Armour All-America published these cards through Topps, one of the nation’s oldest — and classic — sports card manufacturers. The card was published in 2015, but for most fans of Hawaii prep football, seeing this well crafted piece of memorabilia is… mesmerizing.

The back of the card reads:

“With 42 college scholarship offers, Michael is considered to be the most highly recruited player in Hawaii prep football history. He was a fierce leader at Kaiser High, where he primarily played tackle. Given his size, strength and aptitude as a run-blocker, Eletise profiles as a guard at the next level.”

Eletise signed with the University of Arizona in February.

“Michael is getting ready to head to the U of A the first week of June,” his father, Nofo Eletise, texted. “He is thankful for all the support and encouragement he has received from the island. What a blessing to be from the 808.”

We will get some feedback from Eletise when he is done with school later today.
