Update: Kamehameha-‘Iolani hoops

Final: Kamehameha 54, ‘Iolani 40. The Warriors advance to the state tournament, ending ‘Iolani’s late-season run.

Halftime: ‘Iolani leads defending state champ Kamehameha 27-23. Gabriel Vega with 10 points and Duke Pauli with eight for the Raiders. Dyrbe Enos scored all 10 of his points in the second quarter.

Winner claims third place in the ILH and a state-tournament berth. Loser is done for the season.


Near-capacity crowd at ‘Iolani. Tough to get parking. Baseball game also going on (Kaiser-‘Iolani, Raiders led 6-0 in the fifth inning).
