KIF and BIIF win two interisland FB matchups

Two Kauai Interscholastic Federation teams and two Big Island Interscholastic Federation squads won interisland football games over the weekend.

Waimea of the KIF scored a 13-0 victory over visiting Kaimuki of the Oahu Interscholastic Association at Hanapepe Stadium on Friday.

Kapaa, another KIF team, came to Oahu and notched a 20-2 win over Nanakuli of the OIA at the Kapolei High field.


On the Hawaii island, Kealakehe of the BIIF entertained Maui of the Maui Interscholastic League and sent them back to the Valley Isle with a 28-7 defeat.

Kamehameha Hawaii, the other BIIF team to start the season with a victory, defeated Kalaheo of the OIA 21-6 at the Kailua High field on Oahu.
