Jayden de Laura has been too good for schools not to take notice.
A Pac-12 school has finally come calling for the Crusaders’ senior quarterback, who has never lost a game in his varsity career.
De Laura announced on social media on Tuesday night that he has received an offer from coach Mike Leach and the Washington State Cougars.

De Laura, who also holds offers from Western Kentucky, Hawaii, BYU and San Diego State, has made a huge step forward in his senior season, throwing for 1,948 yards and 19 touchdowns with three picks in seven games. He is completing 74.5 percent (126-for-169) of his passes in Saint Louis’ run-and-shoot offense.
He’s also rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns.
Washington State has led the nation in passing in three of the last five years under Leach. The Cougars won a program-record 11 games last season and have been to a bowl game four consecutive years.
The Cougars currently have three players who graduated from Hawaii high schools on their roster — freshman linebacker Peni Naulu (Kapolei), freshman receiver Mitchell Quinn (Saint Louis) and sophomore defensive lineman Christian Mejia (Kailua).
