10:05: Game over.
9:50: The Warriors begin a drive, but it’s interrupted by Emmsley, who intercepts a Keone pass for Kamehameha’s fourth turnover of the half.
9:44: On first down, Kapolei strikes again. Stribing catches a short pass from Bailey and weaves his way 39 yards for a touchdown. Fonoti’s extra-point try misses. KAPOLEI 27, KAMEHAMEHA 3, 7:37 left in fourth quarter.
9:43: The Warriors get as far as the Kapolei 37 before the Hurricanes’ Branston Gasper-Birgado intercepts a Keone pass. It’s the third turnover of the second half by Kamehameha.
9:41: Once again, the Hurricanes can’t move — thanks to a sack by Maeva — and punt it away.
9:39: The Kapolei defense comes up big again, when Isaiah Mareko recovers a Kamehameha fumble.
9:37: Kapolei returns the favor and gives up the ball on downs, thanks to a third-down tackle for loss by Maeva, who has a bunch (check back later here for how many) tackls for loss.

9:29: A pass deflection by Kapolei’s Zechariah Kanahele-Mone and then a sack of Keone by Kanahele-Mone on fourth down leads to a Warriors’ punt. Hurricanes take over on downs at the Kamehameha 36.
9:23: Fonoti’s 39-yard field-goal attempt goes wide left. 3:39 left in third quarter.
9:22: Chanzyn Dupont catches a 13-yard pass from Bailey and Joshu Nahulu picks up 15 yards with a run. But the drive stalls at the Warriors’ 22. The field goal unit is coming on.
9:18: Keone is sacked by Kahoolewa Emmsley and fumbles the ball away. It’s recovered by the Hurricanes’ Johnson Savusa. Kapolei ball at the Kamehameha 35.
9:13: Warriors cross midfield on Keone’s 28-yard pass to Kalanikuikahi Lorenzo.
9:09: Two plays later, Bailey laterals to Stribling, who throws a strike to Coyaso for a 26-yard touchdown. Fonoti kicks the extra point. KAPOLEI 21, KAMEHAMEHA 3, 9:11 left in third quarter.
9:07: A 14-yard up-the-middle Reyes run and a 25-yard Bailey to Camarillo pass brings the ball to the Kamehameha 30.
9:03: Kapolei takes the second-half kick, with Coyaso returning it 27 yards to the Hurricans’ 33.

8:45: Keone’s 12-yard pass to Clemente and Keone’s runs of 9 and 7 yards push the ball to the Kapolei 38, but time runs out in the first half.
8:43: Fonoti comes in to attempt a 37-yard field goal. The attempt goes wide right.
8:38: There’s a hiccup in the Hurricanes’ drive. Dycen Coyaso, in as a wildcat QB, gets dropped for losses of 6 and 5 yards by Ezra Evaimalo and Colby Tam.
8:36: A Bailey to Stribling third-down, 8-yard pass picks up a first down to the Kamehameha 16.
8:33: A Bailey pass to Stribling covers 20 yards to the Kamehameha 30. 3:45 left in the second quarter.
8:31: A third-down, long pass from Bailey to Stribling falls incomplete, but the Hurricanes get new life on a holding call. First and 10 from the 50.
8:28: Kamehameha recovers Kapolei’s onside kick try at the 50, but goes three and out and punts.
8:25: On the next play, De’Zhaun Stribling — the standout receiver — takes a wildcat snap and heads around left end for a 23-yard touchdown. Fonoti kicks the extra point. KAPOLEI 14, KAMEHAMEHA 3, 7:06 left in second quarter.
8:24: Bailey’s 15-yard connection with Haleola Thomas goes for 17 yards.
8:23: On a third and 10 from their own 20, the Hurricanes get a diving, over-the-shoulder, highlight-reel catch from Jason Camarillo on a pass from Bailey. It goes for 32 yards to the Warriors’ 48.
8:17: Shiloh Louis-Keneakua catches an 11-yard pass from Keone and two other receivers catch passes to get the Warriors’ ball to the Kapolei 19. That’s as far as they get. Rezentes tries a 36-yard field goal, but it goes wide left.
8:13: The Warriors take over at the Kapolei 34 after a 32-yard punt.

8:11: Bailey goes down for the second time via a sack. This time, Dayne Maeva gets in there to drop him for a 10-yard loss. Kapolei will be punting it away from its 7.
8:09: Bailey, on first and 10 from the 20 for Kapolei, gets sacked by Kamehameha’s Harrison Donato.
8:07: Preston Rezentes comes in to try a 48-yard field goal. The kick is good. KAPOLEI 7, KAMEHAMEHA 3, 1:41 left in first quarter.
8:05: It’s another fourth down for the Warriors. Fourth and 5 from the 41.
8:03: On fourth and one, Kawika Clemente gets the call and goes up the middle. It’s close. The measure again and he gets the first down by a foot.
8:01: Andrew Lee Smith gets the call on third and one. He is short by an inch after a measurement. Fourth down.
7:59: Tanner Moku, a hurdling star in track season, gets to the left side on a sweep for the Warriors and gains 22 yards. Then Keone hits Edward Correa with a 16-yard pass. Warriors ball at the Hurricanes’ 41.
7:51: Three plays later, Reyes runs up the middle for a 5-yard touchdown on a draw play. Micah Fonoti kicks the extra point. KAPOLEI 7, KAMEHAMEHA 0, 6:19 left in the first quarter.
7:50: After one first down, Kapolei running back Jayven Reyes goes up the middle 26 yards to the Kamehameha 19.
7:48: Noa Bailey is in at QB for the Hurricanes.
7:47: Keone is sacked on third down for a loss of 12. Kamehamhea punts. Kapolei takes over at its 35.
7:46: Kiai Keone is in at QB for the Warriors.
7:45: Kamehameha receives the kick. Kapolei defends the makai end zone.

This season for Kamehameha has been a black-eye for its great football tradition. I’ve never seen a Kamehameha football team be out-performed, out-coached, and out-classed like this. Its time to move on from Abu and the entire coaching staff from the intermediate to varsity.
