Saint Louis linebacker Nick Herbig and receiver Koali Nishigaya were named most valuable players of the Aloha Football Classic.
The duo was presented with awards by game organizer Rich Miano prior to practice on Tuesday.
Herbig scored on defense after recovering a fumble he helped cause and Nishigaya caught 10 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 31-19 win over Bishop Gorman on Friday at Aloha Stadium.
Can you please ask Mr. Miano at $15 a ticket to get into either football game, that’s over $225,000 dollars, (15,000 fans). Where is this money being used?
Not including $8 parking and $15 plate lunches!
I feel $10 would have been appropriate maybe $15 for a double header.
Try factoring in rental to use the stadium, personnel to man the stadium, travel cost etc…Parking and plate lunch go to the vendors.

I would have loved a double header! But $15 for the 1 game wasn’t too bad. BG & STL split some of the profits is cool with me too. What ever it takes for our local schools to continue to draw mainland schools. Exposure for our local kids!!

Nishigaya a good player no doubt, but that Mililani kid had eight catches for almost 150 yards and 2 touchdowns
The stadium game $15 was a little steep but it matched the 2 high profiled teams and the venue in regards of St. Louis and BG
What it didn’t match up was the Liberty vs. Mililani game. That game they should of charged at least $10. $15 for that game was not worth it.
808 paying $15 to watch Mililani play was worth the watch especially how they played that night. Watching that defense play and how the offense turn around and dominated was worth watching for $15. They play St. Boscoe I could imagine it will be the same price also. Go Trojans…

That’s what I meant. Don’t charge both games $15 when one game obviously has the BIGGER SPOTLIGHT. They should of had both games at the stadium.
Aloha Football Classic also said No to any sponsor Live Streams for the game and declined OC 16 from broadcasting.
They knew what they were doing. They tried to collect as much money as possible.

Haha, even if Gorman won it wasn’t worth $15. I had to bring my 7 kids so it cost me over $200 including parking & food.
No student discount, no military discount, no senior discount, no family package. “Auwe” where the money going TMT?
Mahalo Coach Rich and the Polynesian Bowl for bringing down these Nevada teams and creating the Aloha Classic. I’m sure most would agree, would’ve been a lot better for everyone to have a double header at Aloha Stadium. Maybe in 2020?
???, that’s your problem you have a big family, and would cost you over $200, I don’t hear anybody else complaining about there big family going to the game.
$15 for each game was fine by most. No one forced anybody to attend the game. They advertised the game would $15 beforehand. If the price was that big of a deal you should have sat this one out.
