Punahou athletic director Kale Ane remembers Lili Thompson as a dedicated athlete always striving to get better.

Thompson was a freshman girls basketball player for Punahou in 2009-10 before finishing her high school career on the mainland.

She won a national collegiate title with Notre Dame last year as a graduate-student transfer from Stanford, where she was named All-Pac-12 twice.

And now?

Thompson, whose full first name is Khaliyah, is now with the Harlem Globetrotters and loving it.
