GAME NIGHT 10/6: Kamehameha/Waianae

9:23: Game over.

9:09: Waianae ended up losing the ball on downs. Kamehameha had a punt blocked, but the Seariders couldn’t punch it in. Warriors take over on their 11.


8:55: A Lui 18-yard catch from Poepoe and a 15-yard pass interference penalty moves the ball for Waianae to the Kamehameha 17.

8:51: Third quarter ends.

8:50: Adonnis Puou goes up in a crowd and comes down with a 30-yard reception of a Poepoe pass. Waianae ball at the Warriors’ 45.

8:38: Luke Hamacon kicks a 39-yard field goal for the Warriors. KAMEHAMEHA 27, WAIANAE 0, 3:54 left in third quarter.

8:35: Onyx Freitas in at QB for the Warriors. He completes his first pass to Ramos for 20 yards to the Waianae 20.

8:33: The Seariders get a first down, but can’t get more and punt. Kamehameha ball at the Waianae 40.

8:27: Hoku Arias strip sacks Poepoe and Lancen Dung scoops and scores from 15 yards out for Kamehameha. Keola Downing kicks the extra point. KAMEHAMEHA 24, WAIANAE 0, 7:37 left in third quarter.

8:22: Waianae’s Samson Cook intercepts a Togiai pass.

8:20: Kamehameha’s Dayne Maeva intercepts a Poepoe pass. Warriors ball at the 50.

8:17: Waianae gets a break with a Kamehameha personal-foul penalty for a first down, and then the Seariders get another first down on Poepoe’s 22-yard pass to Tuinei.

8:14: Kevin Poepoe in a QB for Waianae. He finds Chad Pule for a 13-yard gain and a first down at the 33.

8:13: Waianae start its first possession of the second half from its 20.

7:57: Halftime.

7:55: On the next play, Togiai laterals to the right to Ramos and then goes out for a pass. Ramos hits Togiai with a short pass on the left and Togiai covers 32 yards for a touchdown. Rezentes adds the extra point. KAMEHAMEHA 17, WAIANAE 0, 0:04 to go in the first half.

7:54: Elijah Lujan fumbles the Warriors’ punt and Kamehameha’s Kawika Clemente recovers.

7:53: With 0:25 to go in the half, Kamehameha is punting.

7:51: The Warriors are deep in their own territory after a holding penalty. A 16-yard pass from Togiai to Braden Akima gets the ball to their 25.

7:48: Lopes is sacked twice in a row, once by Blake and once by Akalea Kupono. Once again, the Seariders punt.

7:47: Kamehameha’s Noah Feato fumbles on the punt return and it’s recovered by Waianae’s Braeson Rosa. The ball is at the Kamehameha 33.

7:45: The Seariders get a first down on a Lopes to Tuinei pass, but the drive stalls and they are punting.

7:43: A holding penalty on Kamehameha leads to a Warriors punt.

7:37: Tuinei’s first down is all Waianae can muster. the Seariders punt. Kamehameha ball on the its 35.

7:34: Diesel Tuinei catches a 28-yard pass from Lopes. Waianae ball at its 47.

7:31: On third down, Keone hits Skyler Ramos with a screen pass and it goes for a 6-yard TD. Rezentes kicks the extra point. KAMEHAMEHA 10, WAIANAE 0, 8:47 to go in the first half.


7:27: Serrao breaks free for a 55-yard run to the Waianae 9. He would have scored had it not been for a saving tackle by Waianae’s Kamehaloha.

7:25: Warriors take over on their 36. Keone back in at QB.

7:24: For the third time in a row, the Seariders go three and out and punt.

7:23: Lopes was shaken up on the play. Kevin Poepoe is in at QB for the Seariders.

7:21: Kupono Blake sacks Lopes. It’s third and 10 for Waianae.

7:20: A fourth down Togiai pass to Alex Serrao picks up only 1 yard. Waianae ball at its 33.

7:19: Warriors have a fourth down and 7 at the Waianae 34.

7:17: First quarter ends.

7:16: Togiai is back in at QB for the Warriors.

7:15: The Seariders go three and out and punt for the second straight time after starting the game with to turnovers.

7:11: Xaiston Kamehaloha intercepts a Keone pass. Waianae ball at its 34.

7:09: Warriors start at the Seariders’ 44.

7:08: Waianae goes three and out and punts.

7:04: Kamehameha’s Preston Rezentes kicks a 29-yard field goal. KAMEHAMEHA 3, WAIANAE 0, 4:14 left in first quarter.

7:00: Kiai Keone is in at QB for the Warriors. He completes a 20-yard pass to Brock Ai to the Seariders’ 10. On fourth down and goal, the field-goal unit comes in.

6:59: On first down, the Seariders’ Eteuati Lui fumbles and Kamehameha’s Hoku Arias recovers at the Waianae 34.

6:57: The Warriors punt goes just 1 yard. Waianae ball at its 31.

6:56: Waianae’s Arnel Valdez sacks Togiai on a third down play and the Warriors punt.

6:54: The Warriors’ Micah Lilo intercepts a Shaydon Lopes pass and returns it 48 yards to the Waianae 31.

6:51: Waianae’s Kenneth Joseph Jr. drags five defenders with him for an 11-yard gain and a first down at the Kamehameha
41.

6:48: Kalena Sione has a tackle for loss and a sack of Kamehameha quarterback Christmas Togiai. Warriors go three and out and punt.

6:47: Kamehameha will receive the kick. Waianae is defending the East end zone.

6:46: Waianae won the JV game over Kamehameha 23-0.
