Machado out as Moanalua boys soccer coach

Spencer Machado, who spent 26 years as the Moanalua boys soccer coach, will not return to that post next season.

Moanalua athletic director Joel Kawachi confirmed on Tuesday that the school is looking for a new coach.

Machado won numerous OIA divisional titles, but never won the overall OIA championship. Na Menehune’s last league title came in 1981.


Resumes will be accepted for the open boys soccer position until April 27.
