ILH boys soccer teams off to flying start

At this point, Interscholasatic League of Honolulu boys soccer looks like a race between three undefeated teams.

Punahou has taken a small lead with a 4-0 record, and the Buffanblu are followed in the standings by ‘Iolani and Mid-Pacific, both at 3-0-1.

Kamehameha, at 2-2, is also in the mix for the championship and the league’s two spots in the state tournament. Nothing is a given and the league’s other teams —— Saint Louis, Damien and Pac-Five — can all play spoiler roles.


All scores of ILH games pitting two of the top four boys soccer teams along with a schedule of pivotal upcoming games follows. The regular season ends Feb. 12.
