With concerns over the outbreak of the coronavirus shutting down collegiate athletics over the last 24 hours, the first prep sporting event has been canceled for the same reasons.

The ILH will not hold judo tournaments scheduled for Friday and Saturday according to Hawaii Baptist athletic director Deren Oshiro.

“As a precaution due to the nature of the sport,” Oshiro said.

ILH boys volleyball matches scheduled for tonight are still on.

An OIA softball game between Kaiser and Moanalua scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed to next Thursday because of rain.

This story will be updated if more sports are canceled or postponed.
