The HHSAA / Enterprise Hall of Honor Committee added another 12 names to its exclusive list of the state’s greatest high school athletes on Sunday, bringing the number of immortals to 408 since the program began in 1983.
An awards banquet will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016, 5:00 pm at the Pomaika’i Ballrooms at Dole Cannery. Honorees are required to attend the awards banquet.
Four neighbor island stars were inducted, the most since five were put in the 2012 class. Kamehameha has put at least one athlete in for 11 straight years and Punahou is right behind it with a streak of 10. Hawaii Prep has the next-longest streak at 2.
