Lu fires 63 to win OIA tourney at Ala Wai

Moanalua’a Shawn Lu carded a 9-under 63 to edge teammate Kenneth Won by one stroke at OIA golf tournament No. 3 at Ala Wai Golf Course on Tuesday.

Desmond Mello, another Na Menehune golfer rounded out the top three on the boys side with a 70.

In the girls tournament, Kalani’s Miki Manta shot a 1-under 71 to win it. Mililani’s Mari Nishiura was two strokes back at 73, followed by McKinley’s Jodi Torricer in third with a 75.
