The latest MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings are out and the Kamehameha Warriors have landed at No. 11.

Kamehameha toppled some heavyweights over the weekend at the Durango Volleyball Classic. Wins over Horizon (Ariz.) and Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) vaulted the Warriors into the tourney final, where they lost to Torrey Pines (Calif.).

In last week’s poll, Horizon was No. 5 and Mitty was No. 25. (In the PrepVolleyball.com rankings, Horizon and Mitty were third and fifth, respectively.)

Torrey Pines is No. 6 in the new MaxPreps poll.

Mercy (Kent.) is No. 1.

Kamehameha defeated Punahou on Tuesday night 25-15, 25-21.
