Kamehameha-Pearl City update: Warriors sweep

PUKALANI >> Kamehameha has won the first two sets 25-12, 25-12 against Pearl City in opening-round play of the HHSAA Division I Girls Volleyball State Championships at KS-Maui’s campus.

More soon.

UPDATE, 10:37 p.m.: Kamehameha wins in three sets, 25-12, 25-12, 25-17. Pearl City seemed as cold as the weather outside — winds were 30-40 mph at times, leveling rain sideways. The Chargers made it real interesting in the third set, but by then, it was a little too late.
