Akana, Nichols team up to win Beach Volleyball crown

The team of Keonilei Akana and Jordyn Nichols of Kamehameha defeated Punahou’s team 21-19, 21-14 on Saturday for the Hawaii Beach Volleyball State Prep Championships at Queen’s Beach in Waikiki.

Akana is currently a junior who was a key contributor for the Interscholastic League of Honolulu indoor volleyball champions.
