$10 for admission, wow! Now my friend Greg will not be able to afford it and he cannot support girls basketball. Should we start a gofundme website for Greg? What do you guys think? I will start by donating $2.00. That is $1.99 more than Greg has at this moment.

Hey Education First I knew you’d be here, haha knew you can’t stop stalking this girls. So sad that you need to stalk them & wondering which team you’ll be cheering for, haha. Mr. Richman would like to pay for everyone’s admission since he thinks it’s so expensive. WoW new article & it still upsets him with rage & jealousy that he has to resort to turning it into a joke. Good for you Education First, keep writhing jokes & venting so that it makes you feel good about yourself. In the meantime I’ll enjoy you once again making a fool of yourself.

Man, can you come up with your own original work. I know you want to be me, but please use your own material. Or at least properly cite my work using APA Format. You are the one with the court order to stay away from kids.

I guess the biggest flattery is using my material, so thank you.

As for rage and jealousy, how is it rage and jealousy when all I am trying to do is raise money for your poor self?

If anything you should be telling me thank you! Without me you can’t get to see the little girls that you crave so bad to see!

But seriously, can you even come up with new and fresh material? I am guessing no based on your style of elementary writing.

If you want I will do pro-bono for you and help you learn how to write. We can start with Babar and Clifford the Big Red Dog books to spark your interest and not go to fast so you too can experience success and the joy of learning!

    You are very welcome!

    Get a room you freaks!

Who chooses the players that participate in this game and why are these the only seniors when there are more throughout the islands?

  6. Sports fan February 21, 2016 10:37 am

This is an annual game for seniors only. The person who picked these probably got their stats from scoring live. The person who chose these girls did not take their individual egos, poor team play and their sucking up to the coaches into consideration. There are four girls on both teams that should not be listed. Those girls will not get any scholarships because they have bad grades and terrible ball handling skills.
Shame on the coaches for allowing bad behavior through out the season and then rewarding them now.

@sports fan strong point. I was just wondering because I know of a bunch of girls who I believe should be playing. Definitely some from the outer islands. Maybe they should have seniors represent each island. Now that would be a game to see. My opinion Big Island would have the slight edge.

There are a bunch of great players on these lists and a handful who have no business. Like Bballfan said there are plenty solid players who definitely deserve to be playing that are left out. I guess this is to be expected when the teams are solely picked by the sponsor.
How’s this!!!??? At $10 admission this makes this more expensive to go to than the HHSAA state tournament. At $10 bucks a person, couldn’t the sponsor come up with more than 2 teams (4 girls’ and 4 boys’). I know gotta fund the club team but geez!!!

Shame on any of you for hating on these girls! Hows about finding out who actually chooses the roster BEFORE posting negative comments like this? I understand that Geremy picks the girls himself and no one should be passing judgment if you sitting at home hating from your computer. Go out and start your own classic if you think you can do better! These are children and last I knew, all kids have individual egos and exhibit poor team play at some point in their life. Having a competitive nature can bring out the best and worst in athletes, but to bash these girls for working hard on the court is low class. Grow up!

To pay $10 to see any of these girls is ridiculous.

  11. HawaiiFan February 24, 2016 4:21 pm

Sports Fan I’d pay double to watch these girls & the boys games. That’s good to know that you’ll be staying home moping. Congratulations ladies & Geremy Robinson thank you.

  12. Sports fan February 25, 2016 6:46 am

Am I moping? Yep I admit it. Happy for half of the girls that made the team…absolutely. Couldn’t go anyway..have to work. Disappointed in the overall politics of girls basketball.

  13. Sports fan February 25, 2016 6:58 am

I have no problem bashing the poor behavior of players because I know the coaches and parents let it persist. A good coach would control what happens on and off the court.

Just a little alteration to your comment Sports Fan…”Paying $10 to see these girls play is fine…Charging people $10 to watch these girls play is ridiculous”. fuamiks, to tell you the truth, what is scary is that at $10 admission, anyone can easily financially start a “classic” for basketball. It is just a matter of time before another club team tries and the OIA/ILH and other league officials have to put a stop to these post season events. The sponsor picked these participants himself. Did he have a nomination process from the school coaches? If he didn’t, it would have been nice for the sponsor to get the input from the school coaches as to who they felt was deserving to be rewarded. I believe that Mufi’s jamboree has a nomination and selection process. How much does Mufi charge to watch his event? Now that event is a Classic. Congrats to all the deserving players who made this event!
