LIVE BLOG: Sacred Hearts Invitational, day 3

The ‘Iolani Raiders are a unanimous No. 1 in today's Star-Advertiser Girls Basketball Top 10. Paul Honda/Star-Advertiser

The final day of the Sacred Hearts Invitational is underway. The third- and first-place games have shuffled teams, similar to last year when Kamehameha opted to play in the third-place game to avoid playing another ILH member, Sacred Hearts.

So it’s ‘Iolani against Kaimuki in the third-place game and Waiakea versus Sacred Hearts in the final.

Waiakea 56, Sacred Hearts 37, end Q3
Waiakea does not look like a team playing its six game in less than three days. The Warriors have maintained defensive pressure and made it tough for the Lancers to get the ball in shooting position for Martinez and Te‘Hiwa Medeiros. Waiakea is running the floor like a team with fresh legs, too.
