Coach Young is my vote for coach of the year. First year and Waianae is in the State semi’s. The thing about these old school football programs like Waianae is family tradition, neighborhood pride. These field that these kids toil and sweat on is the same field their grandfather’s and father’s bled on and cried on. It is sacred grounds. The roar of generations echo in the Waianae valley. Thanks Coach Young for giving back to your community. You are a role model for these young men.
