Offense, defense, special teams. Third-ranked Punahou overwhelmed Waianae in every phase for a 52-0 halftime lead en route to a 52-7 win. Running back Alai Williams scored two TDs, and Punahou’s special teams scored and set up two TDs.
The real test for Punahou is next week against Kahuku, Kamehameha and Saint Louis will be tough in the ILH.
Don’t know about Kamehameha being tough or even giving SLS and Punahou a challenge in the ILH. Their performances so far don’t suggest that they’ll be too competitive in league play.
