Hope they open it up more! I wonder what these Varsity kids from Farrington and Punahou were thinking when that freshmen kid was able to make some plays happen…

Read option and handing it off to a powerful run game should be enough to get them to the ship. That backup QB (Renaud) got a strong arm though so hopefully big red utilizes him too.

Everybody makes plays…. I wonder what these varsity players from Kahuku and Farrington were thinking when Punahou was scoring on them very easily? It’s jus a scrimmage.

  4. 88 August 1, 2016 10:37 am

They were probably thinking the same thing they were thinking last year when they scrimmaged Mililani, ” I wish Coach would get us out of this basic D package and let us smash these guys already”….. I hope Punahou did not fall for the okidoke…..

  5. 87 August 1, 2016 10:45 am

89 hows about you go play with 88 until he falls in your arms and you two can go score a touchdown togedda!! lol

  6. SimpleSimon August 1, 2016 10:48 am

Kahuku never does good in preseason scrimmages.

  7. 88 August 1, 2016 11:09 am

  10. Ackrite August 1, 2016 12:39 pm

Punahou looked good but I could already tell Kahuku was just cruising in them scrimmages… Don’t fall for it because Mililani did last year!

  11. 89 August 2, 2016 6:19 am

    87 – me love u long time!

Controlled Scrimmages don’t mean much. And Kahuku will get much better due to personnel and talent. But in the scrimmage between Punahou, Kahuku, and Farrington, Punahou scored 7 TD’s and only gave up 2 TD’s with their reserves in.

  13. 87 August 2, 2016 10:07 am

Although Reggie Torres is on the buff sideline his presence at that scrimmage still inspired big red to keep the foot off the gas pedal in a scrimmage.

    89 – ta e’

  15. Football Fan 69 August 2, 2016 2:08 pm

Why would you keep your foot off the gas pedal? That is absurd.

  16. 88 August 2, 2016 6:38 pm

Maybe because ummmmmm I don’t know, it’s a SCRIMMAGE. The less formations you run on both O and D the less film teams have to study….. But hey your right Punahou scored 7 tds on Kahuku in July. Let’s hope they can do the same come October. History tells us they can’t. I think their record against Kahuku in the state finals is 0-5 or something like that but hey they got 7TDs in July right…..

He, he, FBF 69, 87, and 88, that’s call double reverse camouflage or 4WD smoke screen.

  18. Chloropicrin August 3, 2016 6:24 am

All they’re doing is running base plays on both offense and defense in scrimmages. It’s to get looks at guys who might get cut or guys battling for starting jobs.

  19. Hauula93 August 3, 2016 11:58 am

Punahou scored on Kahuku 3 times and Kahuku scored on punahou starters once not reserves.. C’mon guys… Plus it’s a scrimmage. ….
