Tovi’s second offer is from SDSU

Mililani junior Andru Tovi has received a scholarship offer from San Diego State.


Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance shared the news this afternoon on its Facebook page.


Tovi, a 6-3, 325-pound guard/center, also has an offer from Utah State. He was a Star-Advertiser all-state second-team selection by coaches and media.

    Hawaii has not offered yet? Surprising since one position sorely needing depth/starter in 2016 is offensive center.

    I imagine it must be tough to excel on the recruiting front while assistant coaches keep departing. Hopefully, they don’t fall behind in the process while bringing in new coaches.
