The regular season champion in OIA Division II will be decided during the final week of the regular season.

The four teams to make the playoffs are already set.

Waialua’s 33-8 win over McKinley on Saturday combined with Waipahu’s 28-23 victory over Kalani eliminated the Falcons from playoff contention.

Kalani could finish with a winning record at 4-3 if it can beat winless McKinley on Friday, however, the best it could do is tie Waialua for fourth place and the Bulldogs have the head-to-head tiebreaker due to a 16-14 win way back on Aug. 27.

The Bulldogs finished the season 6-1 with the five-point win over the Falcons and clinched a top-two seed in the four-team playoffs, meaning a home game in the semifinals. Waipahu would win the regular season with a Waialua win over Pearl City.

The Chargers, who had a five-game winning streak snapped in a 20-17 loss to Kaimuki on Friday, will either finish with the No. 1 seed with a victory over Waialua on Friday or the No. 4 seed. If the Bulldogs win, a three-way tie for second place would give Kaimuki the No. 2 seed, Waialua the No. 3 seed and Pearl City the No. 4 seed due to a head-to-head tiebreaker.

Here’s how the playoffs will look based on Friday’s key game.

IF Pearl City beats Waialua…
(4) Waialua at (1) Pearl City
(3) Kaimuki at (2) Waipahu
