Molokai rolls to MIL 8-man football title

Molokai defeated Seabury Hall 55-16 in the Maui Interscholastic League 8-man football championship game Saturday at War Memorial Stadium.

It was the opposite result from a year ago, when the Spartans beat the Farmers in the inaugural MIL championship game. The league’s 8-man football program began in 2010.

Seabury Hall (5-2) is 22-2 all-time in games against MIL foes. Both losses have been to Molokai (7-0), including a 62-7 defeat earlier this season.

In the Big Island Intercholastic Federation 8-man finale, league champion Kohala topped host Pahoa 42-0 on Saturday.

MIL and BIIF 8-man results from last weekend follow along with final standings/team records.
