Molokai and Ka‘u clinch 8-man FB titles

Ka‘u knocked off defending champion and visiting Kohala 36-26 in a game for the Big Island Interscholastic Federation 8-man football championship on Saturday.

The Trojans (4-2) now have two championships in the past three seasons. The Cowboys (3-3) failed in their bid to repeat at the top of the heap.

In the Maui Interscholastic League’s 8-man championship game on Thursday, Molokai downed Seabury Hall 45-25 at War Memorial Stadium.

It was the second title in a row for the Farmers (5-0). The Spartans finished their season 3-2.
