Mililani’s Williams invited to Polynesian Bowl

Noah Williams, a 6-foot-1, 290-pound offensive lineman from Mililani, has been invited to the 2018 Polynesian Bowl.

Williams, a third-team All-State selection as a junior, has paved the way to an 8-0 record entering the playoffs for the Trojans, who are tied with Kahuku for No. 2 in the latest Honolulu Star-Advertiser Football Top 10.

Mililani, the defending Division I state champion, is averaging nearly 390 total yards per game and owns the longest winning streak in the state at 12 games dating back to last season.

Williams is the third offensive lineman from Hawaii selected to the game, joining Kailua’s Sione Veikoso and Punahou’s Alama Uluave.

He’s the 17th player overall selected from Hawaii. The next will be announced tonight at 9:30 on Cover2: Hawaii High School Football Weekly on KHON2.

Roughly 10-12 more players will be selected. To weigh in with your choices for the final spots, click here.
